The Nanaimo Child Development Centre is a community-based, non profit organization that has been an integral part of the community since 1967. The Child Development Centre has a mandate to provide individualized services for children, from birth to age 19, and their families that promote optimum child development.

All donations made to the Child Development Centre are tax deductible and go directly to programs and services that support children and families in our community.

Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers. Please consider some of the volunteer activities below:

  • Bingo Volunteer - work Thursdays at Bingo 2:30 - 5:30 PM
  • Front Desk Assistant - volunteer to help our office staff with clerical duties
  • Silly Boat Regatta - All kinds of positions available.
  • Programs - work with our program staff, parents and children
